The Holy Trinity Parent Association (HTPA) is a vital part of our school-family system. We need an active, involved parent organization in order to build a true faith and learning community at HTS. The HTPA mission is to mirror the stewardship goal of building and fostering a community-based spirit to the commitment of the development of our children. All of the efforts will be dedicated to building a Trinitarian Spirit.
According to the By-laws, the mission of the HTPA shall be:
- To promote open communication among the parents, teachers and administration and to promote spiritual and emotional growth of the children within the home, school and church community.
- To promote and coordinate parental support to the Holy Trinity students by offering opportunities to assist through the parent services volunteer program. This program encourages full parent participation in offering volunteer work to support classroom educational needs, school operations, extra-curricular activities and social events.
- To foster a spirit of community and promote good will and cooperation between and among parents, faculty, administration, SAC and the parish of Holy Trinity.
- As a ministry of Holy Trinity Parish, Holy Trinity School supports a stewardship way of life. School families acknowledge the many gifts we receive from God by returning to Him a significant portion of their time, talent, and treasure. Improvements or enhancements to the Education Center/HTS will be funded through our stewardship efforts as a community.
General membership meetings of the HTPA shall be held four times during selected months between August and May as determined by the president of the HTPA. A special meeting may be called at any time by the president, with no less than 48 hours advance notice to the membership. Executive Committee meetings shall be monthly August through May as determined by the president.
