I was born and raised in San Francisco. I attended St. Finn Barr’s Catholic Grammar School from 1962-’68. Prior to third grade, I attended Miraloma public school. I started St Finn Barr’s in third grade.
It was very fitting that I started at Holy Trinity School when the school ministry began in the third grade as an Instructional Assistant. I really love that age and thoroughly appreciate the students. I also assist in first and second grade as well.
My high school education took place at Riordan High School in San Francisco where I graduated in 1972.
I have an Associate of Science Degree from City College of San Francisco in Hotel and Restaurant Management. I worked as chef in the restaurant industry for twenty-four years. In 1980, I moved to Sonoma, Calif. where I became Chef at the Sonoma Hotel located on the historic Plaza. While working there, in 1983, I met my wife Denise Musilli.
In 1985 we were married, and moved to El Dorado Hills. In 1987 Denise and I were blessed with our first daughter, Laura. In 1989 our second daughter, Maria arrived. 1993 brought the birth of daughter number three, Nina. Our son, Anthony finally arrived in 1995. I worked in the restaurant business in Sacramento for eleven years at the Sutter Club, Ettore’s, Tart’s & Truffles, and the Fish Emporium.
In 1997 I became a “stay-home Dad” to take care of our four children. I returned to work part time at Rolling Hills Middle School in 2000, as a Yard Duty Supervisor. Then in August of 2003 I started at Holy Trinity School.
My family and I feel very blessed to have been a part of Holy Trinity since the first mass on May 10, 1992. Working at Holy Trinity School has made the journey even more fulfilling.
I also enjoy being part of the Lector Ministry at Holy Trinity Parish for the last eighteen years. In 2005, I taught a cooking class for children at Holy Trinity Summer School. Recently in February ’06 I taught a cooking class for adults at Holy Trinity Parish through the Adult Education Series. I am also pursuing my own continuing education at Folsom Lake College.
