Rob Sabino was born and bred in the Bronx, New York. His early education was at St Philip Neri elementary school, Fordham Prep (Jesuit) and All Hallows (Irish Christian Brothers) high schools. He majored in music education at Lehman and Hunter colleges in New York City but did not go directly into teaching. That happened nineteen years later. He recorded and toured with many artists including Simon and Garfunkel, Diana Ross, Mick Jagger and many others until 1992 when he settled down in Grass Valley with his wife Debra and her three children, Cory, Rebecca and Peter. They also have twins born in 1997, Robert and Maria Luisa. From 1993 until 1999 he taught and was the music director at St. Joseph parish in Auburn.
Rob then was the organist and music director at the Church of St Martin in Davis and Grace Church (Episcopal) in Fairfield where his wife is the Rector. He was appointed the parish director of music ministries at Holy Trinity in 2008. Of Holy Trinity, Rob says, "I am truly blessed to be at a church and school where service, prayer and worship are so intertwined in the fabric of the congregation and all of the staff. It also doesn’t hurt that there is an abundance of musical talent up here on the hill!" The Warwick-Sabino’s live in Cameron Park.
