In addition to the community-building that takes place in the classroom, at recess and during sports and extracurricular activities, students participate in “buddy class” activities that allow them to work collaboratively and cooperatively with students in other grades.
Students in all grades are part of Faith Families. Faith Families consist of one student from each grade level, transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. Eighth grade students pick a Saint name for their family, and they lead their family in faith forming and group bonding activities throughout the year.
After-school events for students and parents provide more opportunities for families to build relationships with our school community. Parishwide celebrations are designed to promote interaction and friendship with parish families outside of the school.
